Mass generation in Landau-gauge Yang-Mills theory

A longstanding question in QCD is the origin of mass gap Yang-Mills sector QCD, i.e., without quarks. In Landau gauge this gap, and hence confinement, encoded a gluon propagator, which found both lattice simulations with functional approaches. While methods are well suited to unravel mechanism behind generation fully satisfactory answer has not yet been found. work we solve coupled Dyson-Schwinger equations for ghost propagator three-gluon vertex. We corroborate findings earlier works, namely that tied longitudinal projection self-energy, acts as an effective term equations. Because explicit conflict invariance, leaves two possible scenarios: If it viewed artifact, only scaling solution survives; if dynamical, invariance can be preserved there massless poles either vertices. find indeed pole ghost-gluon vertex, however our approximation assumption complete infrared dominance present solution. also put forward may reconcile solution, ghost, decoupling solutions based on vertex seen PT-BFM scheme.
